Welcome to First Grade!
The goal of education is to build a connection with students and motivate them to reach their full potential. I believe that this is the goal of education because students will not want to learn unless they feel safe, and feel welcomed in their classes. Students are most successful when they have a teacher who encourages them to do their best. I believe my role as a teacher is a motivator and a leader. First grade is a very important year for students, because this is the year that teachers help build the foundation for student's learning. A teacher is a stepping stone in a child's life, and I desire to become a stepping stone.
